Remus is 1 !

          We are not sure what day of the month his birthday really is but we know it's in June and so we decided to put his birthday on the 25th to fit in with the rest of us. (Romulus' birthday is next month on the 25th as well) As you can see from the tongue he was not as into the festivities as we were. We even gave him some cream and he didn't want it. All well, I got a picture and I'll pick up some wet food on the way home from work, and I know he'll like that.





Ok...This definitely borders on crazy cat lady status but I mostly did it because I  thought it was funny. I did stop at Wal Mart on the way home to get some wet food. Savory beef shreds my cats' favorite, and I decided it was his birthday celebration food so we should put a candle in it and sing to him. Well we didn't have a cadle but I did find a long match and after I cut it down some it even stood up by itself in the food. And then I took it to the living room because Sterling  refused to get up for such an event and I sang to him because Sterling also wouldn't do that. So luckily one of us is sane. However he did tell me to make sure I got a good picture. I couldn't get the cat to swat out his birthday match but I bet I'll be able to get Romulus to swat his out next month. ( He's kind of a pyro, he's already had to grow his whiskers back a couple of times.) Anyways, I'm nuts, but it was funny and I don't have kids yet so there's my explanation.
